Four people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was seriously assaulted.
Police were called to Best One on Fratton Road in Portsmouth at 02:40 BST on Friday, after the 22-year-old walked in and asked for medical help.
He was taken to hospital where he was treated for broken ribs and possible stab wounds. He has since been discharged.
Two women, aged 35 and 37, and two men, aged 37 and 56, who are all from Southsea were arrested and remain in custody.
Hampshire Constabulary said it was working to establish the circumstances of what happened and had searched a property in Wimpole Street.
The force has urged the public to come forward with information, doorbell or dashcam footage that may help the investigation.
