M25 slip roads reopen after weekend closure

Slip roads linking the M25 and the A3 have reopened after they were closed at the weekend for maintenance work.
The reopening of some roads at junction 10 at the scheduled time of 06:00 BST was delayed due to an "electrical fault".
Jonathan Wade, senior project manager at National Highways, told 大象传媒 Radio Surrey: "There was an intense amount of activity over the weekend.
"At 06:00 BST, we had an electrical failure of the temporary traffic signals on the southbound carriageway and electrical issues are hard to trace and rectify.
"We'd like to apologise to anyone affected by this."
All of the slip roads were fully open by 07:30.
The closures were part of a three-year 拢317m project to update the junctions.
Three full weekend closures of the motorway have taken place already in 2024, with more scheduled in 2025.
National Highways said junction 10 was the busiest section of the M25, with more than 300,000 vehicles passing through every day.
The diversion routes for the weekend took drivers through London's ultra low emission zone (Ulez).
But no enforcement action for charges was carried "when those roads are being used for a diversion", transport officials said.
Further weekend closures are planned to start on 18 October and 1 November.
