A new art exhibition has been launched in Penzance to "provide opportunities for local talent".

PZ Arts Lab said six artists were being showcased at the Wharfside Art Hub and a series of workshops would be held there until the end of the month.

Organisers said the exhibition focuses on "how art is for everyone and how it can create a sense of community".

Victoria Dinham, co-founder of PZ Arts Lab, said she hoped to bring "a unique and distinctive artistic perspective to everyone".

The workshops are open to the public and include a drumming circle, children's art workshops as well as film, documentary and musical evenings.

The exhibition is open from 10:30 BST to 16:30.
