Teenager in court over spate of street robberies
A teenager has appeared in court charged with a series of street robberies in Leeds.
Marius Mihai, aged 19, of Savile Place in Chapeltown, is charged with six counts of robbery.
He is also charged with fraud by false representation in relation to the use of a stolen bank card.
Mr Mihai appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, and was remanded into custody. No plea was entered during the hearing.
He is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court for a pre-trial and preparation hearing on 8 August.
The alleged offences occurred between May 27 and July 8, West Yorkshire Police said.
