Theft charge over Christmas selection boxes haul

A man has been charged with theft after Christmas selection boxes were stolen from a Lancashire shop.
About £60 worth of festive chocolates were taken from B&M at Twad Valley Retail Park in Skelmersdale on 31 October, Lancashire Police said.
Officers have been patrolling shoplifting hotspots and working with retailers as part of Operation Vulture, the force added.
A 38-year-old man from Blakehall is due to appear at Preston Magistrates' Court later.
