Police found safes containing cocaine, mobile phones and more than £6,000 in cash

Cocaine and cash to the value of more than £50,000 have been seized following a raid in Lancashire.

Police searched a property on Church Road in St Annes on Tuesday.

They found two safes, one filled with cocaine with an estimated street value of £40,000, and the other containing mobile phones and more than £6,000 in cash.

A 47-year-old man from the town has been charged with drugs and possession and criminal property offences.
