Police have issued a reminder on how to use mini roundabouts after receiving reports of them being used incorrectly causing safety issues.

Guernsey Police said the reports especially concerned the Colborne Road mini roundabout at the top of the Le Val des Terres.

Quoting the Highway Code, the police said: "You should pass around the central markings of a mini roundabout unless your vehicle is of such a size that it is physically incapable of doing so."

Police said using roundabouts correctly allowed traffic to pass through safely and without being held up.
