Cyclist found critically injured on Inverness road
A cyclist is in a critical condition after being found injured on a road in Inverness.
The man was found lying in Leachkin Road near to Lawyers Way and Highfield Avenue at about 14:30 on Sunday.
Police said a motorist came to the 54-year-old man's aid before he was taken by ambulance to Inverness' Raigmore Hospital.
He has since been transferred to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where medical staff described his condition as critical.
Police have asked anyone who may have been in the area shortly before the incident, or who may have seen the man come off his bike, to come forward.
