Man charged with preparing for act of terrorism
A man is due to appear before magistrates in Westminster charged with preparing for acts of terrorism.
Jason Savage from Small Heath in Birmingham was arrested in the city on 14 March by counter terrorism officers.
The 34-year-old was charged with being engaged in conduct in preparation for acts of terrorism under Section 5 of the Terrorism Act.
He was remanded in custody to appear in court on Friday.
