Man in court over Dublin Airport cocaine seizure
A man has appeared in court after more than half a million euro worth of cocaine was found at Dublin Airport.
About 7.8kg of the drug was discovered by revenue officers in luggage on Monday.
Garda铆 (Irish police) said the operation took place as a passenger disembarked a flight.
They estimate the cocaine is worth about 鈧546,000 (拢467,000).
The defendant, aged in his 30s, appeared at Dublin's Criminal Courts of Justice on Tuesday.
