Man charged following Melrose bypass crash

A man has been charged following a crash in which a cyclist was injured on the Melrose bypass.

The incident happened at about 12:45 on Sunday at the Melrose roundabout on the A6091.

The female cyclist was taken to the nearby Borders General Hospital for treatment.

Police confirmed a 64-year-old man had been charged and thanked the public for its assistance over an appeal for information.
