Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A16 bypass at Crowland on Friday.

The incident, which Lincolnshire Police said involved two vehicles, happened between Applegreen Services and Cowbit just after 23:30 BST.

A woman in her 20s, who was driving a blue Renault, died.

A man and woman who were traveling in a black BMW were also seriously injured and were taken to hospital.

Police said the family of the woman who died is being supported by specially trained officers.

Anyone with dashcam footage or information is asked to contact the force.
