Police have appealed for information after a woman was sexually assaulted in Derbyshire.
The victim was attacked by a man while walking along Darwin Road, in Long Eaton, at about 00:45 BST on Sunday.
Police said a resident living nearby disturbed the man and he ran off towards Elliott Close, possibly through gardens.
The force said extra patrols were put in place in the area and an investigation was ongoing.
The suspect has been described by officers as tall, and was wearing dark clothing and shorts.
Police have urged anyone who witnessed the assault or anyone who "noticed any suspicious activity" nearby or in their gardens to contact the force.
