Collapsed road reopens after burst water main
A major road has reopened to traffic in both directions, after it partially collapsed because of a burst water main.
A section of Thamesdown Drive in Swindon was closed on Thursday evening, and engineers continued to repair the "extensive" damage.
The road was still partially closed, with one lane open in either direction, while the work was carried out.
Thames Water said all homes should now have their water supply back, after some lost pressure and others had no water at all on Thursday.
Some homes may still be seeing discoloured water, but Thames Water said this was likely down to tiny bubbles working their way through the system.
The provider suggested running the tap for two or three minutes for this to clear.
