Police charge man after incident involving weapon

A Plymouth man has been charged with being in possession of an offensive weapon and threatening a person with a bladed article in a public place, police say.
The incident happened in the Woolwell area on Friday, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
The 24-year-old had also been charged with attempted robbery, wounding with intent and the theft of a motor vehicle, among other charges, officers added.
The suspect had been remanded in custody and was due appear at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday, police said.
