A cyclist has a life-threatening head injury after a hit-and-run, police have said.
Devon and Cornwall Police said the cyclist was injured in a collision with a blue Honda CR-V car on Withycombe Road in Exmouth at about 21:25 GMT on Saturday.
A spokesperson for the force said: "The cyclist, a man in his 30s, sustained a life-threatening head injury and remains at Derriford Hospital. The driver of the Honda left the scene."
Officers thanked the public for being patient while the road was closed and asked anyone with information or footage to come forward.
