Pedestrian, 42, critical after collision with car
A pedestrian is critically ill after she was hit by a car in the west end of Glasgow.
Police said the incident happened on Duntreath Avenue, near where it crosses Great Western Road, at about 14:00 on Friday.
The 42-year-old was taken to the city's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car, a silver Ford Kuga, was not injured in the collision.
Sgt Andrew Coutts said: "We believe there were a number of people around at the time of the crash and we are asking anyone in the area at the time who can assist with our investigation to ."
