Man charged with attempted murder in Fort William
Police said a 46-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident

A man has been charged with the attempted murder of another man in Fort William.
A 35-year-old was found with serious injuries in a property on Mackenzie Court on Kilmallie Road in the Caol area of the town at about 22:30 on Wednesday.
A man, 46, has since been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
Detectives leading the investigation said there would be a heightened police presence in the area over the coming days.
