Armed police arrest man allegedly brandishing gun
Armed police have made an arrest following reports of a man brandishing a firearm.
The incident occurred on Monday on Maes y Gornel, in Rhosllanerchrugog, Wrexham.
North Wales Police said a man remained in custody after being arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
Det Insp Dean Jones said the incident was understood to be "isolated" and that the force had no concerns for the safety of the community.
