Man dies in single-vehicle crash in Highlands

A 74-year-old driver has died in a crash on the A938 near Carrbridge in the Highlands.

His passenger, a 73-year-old woman, was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness following the one-car collision on Thursday.

Police said the crash happened at about 17:40.

The road at the scene was closed for about five hours to allow for a police investigation.
