Residents have been evacuated after a fire at a campervan business in Derbyshire.

Seven fire crews were called to the blaze in High Street in Loscoe on Tuesday at about 12:00 BST.

Derbyshire Police said the road had been closed and told people to avoid the area.

The force also urged those living nearby to keep their doors and windows closed.

Flames and plumes of black smoke could be seen coming from the business, which is opposite the former Loscoe Chilled Foods factory.

Everybody at the premises managed to get out of the building before firefighters arrived, Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said.

It added that a command support unit and aerial ladder platform were also at the scene.

Derbyshire County Council warned people visiting the Loscoe Household Waste Recycling Centre that the road was closed.
