Arrest made three years after woodland sex assault
A man has been arrested in connection with a sexual assault on a dog walker in south Staffordshire three years ago.
A woman was walking her dog in woodland off Walsall Road, Great Wyrley, near to The Star Inn around 17:00 BST on Saturday 24 April 2021 when she was attacked, say police.
A 30-year-old man from Walsall has been arrested on suspicion of attempted rape and sexual assault.
He is in custody being questioned by detectives, stated Staffordshire Police.
