Homeless woman's attacker guilty of GBH with intent
A man who filmed himself attacking a homeless woman has been found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Liam Stimpson, 24, from Llanrumney, Cardiff, is also accused of two counts of rape and one count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent on 27 December in Cardiff.
He denied all the charges and told the jury sex between them was consensual. The jury was sent home for the night and will continue deliberating on the remaining charges on Thursday.
During the trial at Cardiff Crown Court the jury heard he filmed himself assaulting the 40-year-old on his phone. Mr Stimpson said the woman suggested the filming as part of role play after he paid her for oral sex.
