Girl, 12, in hospital after being hit by lorry

A 12-year-old girl was taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital with potentially serious injuries after being hit by a lorry in Kidderminster.
The crash happened at about 08:15 GMT on Birmingham Road, West Mercia Police said.
Two ambulances, two paramedic officers, an emergency care doctor and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford attended the scene.
Police said the girl was not thought to have suffered life-changing injuries but West Midlands Ambulance Service described her injuries as "potentially serious".
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service added: "Following treatment from ambulance staff at the scene she was then transported to Birmingham Children’s Hospital by land ambulance."
