Two people seriously hurt in ambulance road crash
Two people have been seriously injured in a crash involving an ambulance and a car.
It happened on the B1506 Bury Road between Kentford and Newmarket, Suffolk, at 19:30 GMT on Tuesday.
The ambulance was carrying three people and there was one person in the car.
Two people in the ambulance, the driver and a passenger, sustained serious injuries and were taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge for treatment.
The road was shut overnight following the crash, reopening at about 05:25 on Wednesday.
Suffolk Police has appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage.
