Driver dies after crashing through A1 reservation
A driver has died after their vehicle crashed through the central reservation of the A1 and collided with a lorry travelling in the opposite direction.
Lincolnshire Police said they were called at 17:51 BST on Friday to reports of the incident on the road near Colsterworth.
The force is now trying to confirm the identity of the driver of the vehicle and trace their next of kin.
The road was closed in both directions, but both carriage ways re-opened earlier on Saturday morning.
Police believe the vehicle involved, a grey Dacia Sandero Expression, had been travelling south on the A1.
The force have appealed for any witnesses or anyone with video footage to contact them.
