Surrey Police has arrested three men on suspicion of attempted murder

Three men have been arrested after two men were stabbed in Epsom on Saturday morning, Surrey Police said.

Officers responded to reports of two separate incidents, which are believed to be linked, in the town centre at about 03:30 and 03:50 BST.

The suspects - aged 18, 21 and 22 - were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm and remained in police custody on Saturday.

The two victims were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Surrey Police appealed for anyone who witnessed the assaults or with other relevant information to come forward, quoting reference PR/0113.
