Man charged with wounding following stabbing

A man has been charged with wounding with intent following a stabbing.
Police were called to a hospital in Burton-on-Trent at about 22:15 BST on Tuesday after a man in his 30s arrived there with stab wounds.
Staffordshire Police said he remained in hospital in a stable condition.
Declan Holness, 30, of Burton-on-Trent, has also been charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre later.
