Evacuated shops reopen after freight train gas leak
Parts of Inverness city centre that were evacuated following a gas leak from a freight train have been reopened to the public.
The alarm was raised at about 10:30 and parts of the Eastgate shopping centre along with a nearby Morrisons supermarket were closed.
All railway lines into the city were also closed and nearby roads shut to traffic.
Train services have resumed, but ScotRail has warned of some disruption as it attempts to get its crew and units back into position.
