Pedestrian hit by car remains in hospital

An 86-year-old pedestrian is in hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a car in Bexhill-on-Sea.
Sussex Police said the man was injured in Western Road at about 16:00 BST on Wednesday.
A police spokesman confirmed the man had been involved in a collision with a car and remained in hospital.
Anyone who saw what happened or has dashcam footage has been asked to contact the force.
