Man dies after two-vehicle collision

A man has died following a crash on a major road in Gloucestershire.
The two-vehicle collision between a Vauxhall Astra and a Mercedes B180 happened on the A48 near Minsterworth at about 12:50 BST.
The driver of the Vauxhall car, a 51-year-old man from Coleford, died at the scene.
The two occupants of the second car have been taken to the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in a serious condition.
The A48 between Elton Corner and Highnam Roundabout remains closed and motorists are advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
