A horse has had to be rescued by firefighters after throwing her rider and ending up in a river.
Magenta the horse became stranded in a Fenland river near Throckenholt, on the Lincolnshire-Cambridgeshire border on Monday, after she was apparently "spooked", Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
Animal rescue teams from Peterborough and Wisbech managed to winch her to safety using a harness and lifting machinery provided by a local company.
The rescue was carried out under the supervision of a vet, and Magenta was returned unharmed to her owner.
