Motorists were queuing for hours in a car park in Plymouth as a clear-up continued following a crash.

One shopper said he had been stuck in the car park at Marsh Mills retail park for two hours on Saturday.

Others reported being stuck for three hours after a cement lorry overturned on a slip road near the A38 at about 08:50 BST on Friday.

The traffic blockage was eased later after police diverted cars.

Plymouth Highways said on Friday there were "issues with the road surface" following the crash and it would remain closed overnight.
