Boys aged 11 and 14 arrested over riots
Two boys aged 11 and 14 have been arrested in connection with riots and disorder in Hartlepool.
A police car was set alight and officers were attacked with missiles, glass bottles and eggs during disturbances on Wednesday night.
Cleveland Police said the boys, both from Hartlepool, were held on suspicion of violent disorder and remain in custody.
An 18-year-old and two 19-year-olds from the town were previously charged with violent disorder and were due to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
Seven other men charged in connection with the unrest will appear at Teesside Crown Court on 2 September.
Cleveland Police previously said it believed the disorder was linked to protests over the fatal knife attack on three children in Southport on Monday.
