Police appeal after man found lying in road

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after a man was found lying in the road following a "serious assault" in Redhill.
Officers found the man in his 60s on the A25 at the junction of Shrewsbury Road and Hatchlands Road on 6 June at about 21:20 BST.
Surrey Police said members of the public were helping the man when they arrived.
It had been reported he had been assaulted by a group of people at about 21:00.
The man was taken to hospital in a serious condition but has since been released.
