Teenager hit by car left in critical condition
A teenage pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by car.
Emergency services were called to Sandon Road, Meir about 17:50 GMT on Tuesday.
Police said the pedestrian, in his late teens, had suffered a head injury in the collision with a Ford Focus and was in a critical but stable condition.
The driver stayed at the scene, and was assisting with inquiries, Staffordshire Police said.
Anyone who saw what happened, or had footage of the collision has been asked to contact the force.
