Fire crews fight 'large vehicle fire' near Newquay

Multiple fire crews have been tackling a "large vehicle fire" on the A30 near Newquay.
Crews were called to the incident on the eastbound carriage of the road in Mitchell shortly before 05:00 BST.
A statement from the Cornwall Fire Service said "one hose reel and one dry powder extinguisher" were used to tackle the incident, while one lane was closed.
The incident was cleared at around 07:00 BST according to .
The service said the fire was caused by a filter that had excess fuel which leaked onto a hot exhaust pipe and then ignited.
