Biker suffers life-threatening injuries in crash
A motorcyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash in Wakefield, police said.
The collision happened on the A637 Bar Lane near Midgley at about 11:00 BST on Saturday.
It involved a red and white Honda motorbike and a blue Mazda car.
The motorbike rider, a 58-year-old man from Barnsley, remained in hospital, a police spokesperson said.
Anyone with information about the incident has been asked to contact West Yorkshire Police.
