A blind man who only took up dancing two years ago has told how it has been "magical".

Shaun Hayward, from Manchester, is now entering competitions and has even danced in Blackpool Tower - ballroom dancing's spiritual home.

He has the same sight condition as Liverpool-born comedian Chris McCausland who is wowing audiences and judges on ´óÏó´«Ã½ One's Strictly Come Dancing.

Mr Hayward urged other people to take up salsa or the jive as "it's easy to learn and it gets you confident" .
