A man has been arrested, after a video was circulated on social media of a man suspected of making threats to kill, police said.
West Midlands Police said the video was brought to the force's attention and investigated by officers who identified the location in it.
A 30-year-old man was arrested, from an address in Sparkbrook in Birmingham on Saturday evening, on suspicion of sending communication threatening death or serious harm.
The force said its commitment to the safety of all residents remained unwavering and it would continue to work closely with the community "to uphold peace and maintain order".
It stated it would not tolerate violence in its towns and cities.
Police said they would "take swift and effective action against anyone who feels that they can use social media to stir racial hatred or to encourage people to cause violence or take actions into their own hands".
