A car crashed into a stationary bus after the driver had a "medical episode" at the wheel.

The car driver suffered "life-threatening" injuries in the crash on Higher Market Street in Farnworth, Bolton, at 9:40 BST on Saturday, police said.

A number of bus passengers were injured in the impact, but Greater Manchester Police said none required hospital treatment.

The force has urged anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have video footage of it to get in touch.
