A woman who admitted assaulting three people as they tried to stop her pit bull-type dog killing another dog has had her sentence reduced.
Seren Lloyd, from Strand Road in Londonderry, admitted three assaults and a charge of disorderly behaviour relating to the dog attack.
On Friday a judge at Londonderry Magistrates' Court jailed 23-year-old Lloyd for seven months.
However, on Monday that sentence was reduced following appeal to four months in custody.
Judge Neil Rafferty told the County Court on Monday that Lloyd鈥檚 behaviour was 鈥渄isgraceful鈥 and read a victim impact report from the smaller dog鈥檚 owner who said she had watched 鈥渨hile my dog was torn apart in front of me鈥.
Reducing the sentence, the judge said Lloyd was on a 鈥渕erry go round of chaos and drugs鈥.
