Man in court accused of assaulting police officer
A man has appeared in court accused of assaulting a police officer and having more than 100 wraps of Class A drugs and a machete.
Yusef Camara, of Sandhurst Grove in Leeds, has been charged with three counts of possession with intent to supply heroin and cocaine and one count of possession to supply cannabis.
The 19-year-old, who was arrested on Upper Hanover Street in Broomhall, Sheffield on Wednesday, has also been charged with assault by beating of an emergency worker, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of criminal property.
He was remanded in custody after appearing at Sheffield Magistrates' Court on Friday ahead of his next appearance before Sheffield Crown Court on 27 September.
