Children's splash pool closed after sickness

A swimming pool play park has been closed after claims children who played at the site had become sick.
Portsmouth City Council closed Hilsea Jubilee Splash Pool on Friday afternoon after it "became aware from social media that a bout of sickness" had affected some children who visited the area.
It said it had tested the chlorine every day and there was "no proven connection to the pool" and the sickness.
The local authority has drained the pools and sent water off for testing "as a precaution" and would reopen the site if the results were clear.
