Pedestrian dies after being hit by car

A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in Coedpoeth, Wrexham.

The collision, involving a man and a Ford Focus, occurred at about 21:50 BST on Tuesday on the A525.

Emergency services attended, but the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

North Wales Police officers have appealed for anyone with footage of the incident to contact the force.
