Club cuts ties with coach after linesman punched
A football club said it had cut ties with a coach after a linesman was punched during a match.
A 43-year-old man has been arrested of suspicion of assault and bailed by North Wales Police.
The alleged assault happened during Penrhyndeudraeth FC's 8-0 win at Amlwch Town's Lon Bach ground on Anglesey during a North Wales Coast West Premier League encounter on Saturday.
Amlwch Town apologised to Penrhyndeudraeth and the linesman.
The club said in a statement: "As a club we have been truly saddened by the events on the weekend."
