Man arrested after city centre stabbing
A man in his 20s has been arrested after a stabbing in a city centre.
Police said a man, also in his 20s, was attacked in Portland Street in Manchester at 20:15 BST on Monday.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the victim was taken to hospital for treatment but his injuries were "not-life threatening".
The force said the arrested man has been held on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm. GMP had earlier said the stabbing victim was a boy.
Stagecoach said its buses had been diverted following the incident but services were now back to normal after Portland Street re-opened.
