Two charged after driver killed and child injured

Two men are facing numerous charges after a driver was killed and a child was seriously injured in a three-car crash.
One man, aged 29, faces six charges, including drug driving, causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop after a collision, while the other, aged 33, faces four charges, including causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop after a collision.
It happened on the A483 at Belan, near Welshpool, Powys, at about 18:15 GMT on Saturday.
The child, who was airlifted to hospital, had been travelling in the white Toyota Yaris in which the person died at the scene.
The Yaris was heading south while the other cars, a red BMW X3 and a blue Audi S4, were going north.
Dyed-Powys Police are continuing to appeal for anyone with information on the incident, including witnesses, to come forward.
