E-bike rider seriously injured in crash
Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash involving an electric bike near St Austell, in Cornwall.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the A3058 at Lanjeth at about 22:40 BST on Thursday.
Devon and Cornwall Police said a local man in his 30s, who was riding the e-bike, was taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital with potentially life-changing injuries. No other vehicles were involved.
Officers are asking anyone with information or dash-cam footage of the incident to contact them.
