Emergency services were called to reports of a serious assault on White Hart Lane in Oughtibridge just after 21:00 BST on Sunday.

The 19-year-old man suffered injuries to his abdomen and is being treated in hospital, South Yorkshire Police said.

Officers believe the attack may be linked to an attempted robbery on Knowles Avenue earlier in the day.
